Stained Glass Artwork
Moon Faerie's gnome is a lovely whimsical example of modern stained glass artwork.
While doing some research I stumbled across some stained glass windows from old British churches. And also some more modern artistic representations of various images. These versions of colour, light, and glass are often incredibly beautiful, which got me thinking about this month's colouring pages. So, here then are a number of images chosen for their relevance to the themes of this month. The image of Frigga, the All-Mother, is from Cardiff Castle. If you are interested in creating your own transparent images, pick up some transparencies from the local printer supply area. Print out these images of papwer, place beneath the transparency and trace with fine tip black marker. Use coloured markers to carefully colour in the image and them hang it up on a window. You can also use glass paints to create a more realistic version.
